Naveo Credit Union will never call you and ask for a PIN or a Password. If you call us, we may ask questions to verify your identity.
If you do receive an unsolicited telephone call or email claiming to be from Naveo Credit Union, never disclose any personal identifying information, such as:
- Naveo account numbers, Debit/ATM or credit card numbers.
- Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) and passwords.
- Social security number.
- Mother’s maiden name.
- Or other private information.
Never reveal your PIN to anyone, including Naveo Credit Union staff.
Change your PIN at one of our branch locations if you suspect it may have been compromised.
Store your card number and PIN separately, and never write your PIN on your card.
If you use iBanking or Bill Pay, log out when finished and close your browser before leaving your computer.
Never leave your computer unattended during an Online Banking session.
Never use email to send your non-public information. Please always use our secure online form to communicate with us.
Beware of any email asking you to log into Online Banking if it does not link to the official Naveo Credit Union website. Use a saved link to the Naveo Online Banking login page wherever possible, instead of clicking on a link in an unsolicited email. Familiarize yourself with our online security features, especially your selected Personal Image, so you can be confident you are at our website and not at a fake site designed to look like ours.
Security Regarding our Mobile Banking Products
Our Mobile Banking products are safe and secure. We use the same security technology in our Mobile Banking solutions as we do within iBanking to ensure your safety. Only the phones that you personally enroll can access your account information. And, in the event that your phone has been lost or stolen, you can disable the service by calling our eBanking team at 617- 702-5129.
